Patrick Massett
began his career in Hollywood over 25 years ago. He co-wrote Lara Croft: Tomb Raider starring Angelina Jolie. And most recently GOLD, starring Matthew McConaughey. His television career began with Veritas: The Quest at ABC, which he and his partner John Zinman, Co-Created and Executive Produced. He then went on to Co-Executive Produce Emmy Award-Winning, Friday Night Lights at NBC, The Chicago Code at FOX, and Last Resort at ABC with Executive Producer Shawn Ryan. He Co-Executive Produced The Blacklist starring James Spader at NBC. Patrick currently has two films in pre-production including Resistance with Lawence Bender Producing, and ADAM with Vice Films. Patrick and John Zinman currently have a deal with Film Nation and NBC for a new Pilot called Encounters. He’s been married to actress-producer Marybeth Massett for 28 years and they have three children.
Marybeth Massett
Marybeth Massett has worked as a story consultant, script editor, and development executive both independently and for Harvester Road for over the last 15 years. She produced the festival award-winning short, THE SEER, with Thirteen Films. In addition to producing Marybeth is also an actress. She has appeared in films such as The SOCIAL NETWORK and most recently in GOLD starring Mathew McConaughey. Television credits include STAR TREK, NCIS LA and RAY DONOVAN and most recently Marybeth created and stars in the television satire CLAIRE-ITY which she and Patrick Massett produced. She and husband Patrick Massett have been married for 28 years. They have three children and live in Malibu, Ca.
Rose Massett
Rose is a Los Angeles born and based writer and director. After graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Film and Television program, she moved back to Los Angeles and began working in film and television development.
Her first film, REFUGEE IS NOT MY NAME is currently in the festival circuit where it has won several awards including, Best Documentary Short for Global Justice at the Hollywood Women’s International Film Festival, as well as Best Documentary Short at Indie Short Fest. The film premiered at the Women’s International Film Festival in New York City in June 2019.
She is editing a short narrative film titled, A MILLION LITTLE THINGS, and in post-production on a television / new media series, CLAIRE-ITY. She is also currently working on various branded content projects.
Rose is constantly inspired by color, light and surrealism, especially of that found organically in nature. Her love of telling deeply human and authentic stories set against surrealist backdrops, fuels her character driven narratives.
